If there is one place where the word nature takes on its full meaning, it is Rougemont. In the Pays-d'Enhaut, where time seems to be suspended between the sky and the surrounding peaks, the small village has managed to keep its soul and its traditions. Just a stone's throw from the famous resort of Gstaad, mountain farming has remained alive in these flowery meadows where, in summer, the sound of cowbells and sometimes a youtze can be heard at the bend of a mountain path.

It is in this pure nature that the milk is produced for the famous Fleurette tomme and other delicacies of the eponymous cheese factory in Rougemont.

In summer, the cows graze in the surrounding mountain pastures at an altitude of more than 1,400 meters. In winter, they ruminate on the hay harvested during the summer. The mountain flora, composed of aromatic flowers, gives unique flavors to the fresh milk delivered each morning to the cheese factory. Mountain milk is particularly rich in omega-3.
