FONDATION DE VERNAND

 At the heart of schools, towns and villages in the canton of Vaud, the Fondation de Vernand supports the daily development of over 600 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, pervasive development disorders and autism spectrum disorders.

Among its many actions, the Fondation de Vernand offers workplaces in workshops with a socializing vocation, providing socio-professional support to enable each and every individual to develop.

It was with this in mind that the Atelier 4 ème Gamme was created in 2005, with its first mission being a partnership with the Vernand kitchen and the preparation of vegetables. Then, in 2012, a move outwards, thanks to the development of a dried fruit range.

Today, our dried fruits are well known and available in local grocery stores such as Terres Vaudoises. They are also available in Dallmayr vending machines.

We also regularly take part in the Grands Marché et Concours suisses des produits du Terroir in Courtemelon.

We prepare :

• Dried fruit in bags,
• Plain apples,
• Lemon-cinnamon apples,
• Pears,
• Prunes,
• Seasonal fruit (strawberries)...
